We updated our licensing model so that we wouldn't have to charge for upgrades ever again. You can now choose between licensing iMazing for the lifetime of a specific Apple mobile device (Device License license), or opt for an Unlimited Devices subscription. In both cases, all future updates of iMazing are available free of charge.

It all boils down to how many devices you use iMazing with. If you use premium features with more than 3 new devices per year, the Unlimited Devices subscription is the right choice. Otherwise, the Device License license is the better deal: use iMazing with your licensed devices on any Mac or PC, for the entire lifetime of the device.

Simply activate iMazing with your license code and start using it. Whenever you perform an action which requires licensing, iMazing will prompt you to link the device to your license if needed. You can keep using all the free features with any number of devices.

Whenever you use a premium feature with a device that hasn't yet been linked to your license, iMazing will offer to link it. In the screenshot below, we are exporting photos from Amy's iPhone, a device which hasn't been linked to the license yet:

Your iMazing Device License supports a limited number of Apple mobile devices. If your license is already fully used, accessing a premium iMazing feature with a new device will display the following screen:

Linking a specific iPhone, iPad or iPod device to your license is permanent and cannot be undone. Licensed devices can be used with all iMazing updates (including major versions), for their entire lifetime, on any Mac or PC computer.

You can remove your license from iMazing using the License menu's Remove License option. This will free up a seat so that you can activate iMazing with the same license code on another macOS or Windows computer.
